We are a cheer and tumbling gym in Tempe, AZ that is also home to the Arizona All-Stars FORCE competitive cheer program. We train athletes of ALL levels and ages in cheer and tumbling, as well as local high school cheer teams.
We offer competitive cheer teams that compete locally and nationally. We also have recreational tumbling and recreational cheer programs with coaches that are highly experienced in all aspects of cheer and tumbling to bring you the highest level of training possible!
This is the cheerleading you often see showcased on ESPN. Our sport is extremely athletic and skill-based. Cheerleading competitions are held all over the World!
At Arizona All-Stars, tumbling classes start as young as five. Arizona All-Stars Force Cheer teams range from ages 6-18 years old. Our recreational cheer F3 teams begin at ages 4 though 14 years of age.
Tumbling classes at Arizona All-Stars revolve strictly around floorwork. Tumbling training involves trampolines, spring floors and various instructional mats.
Athletes begin by learning forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and progress to back handsprings, tucks, and full twisting lay-outs among other advanced skills. Unlike gymnastics, we consider a back handspring a basic skill and progress tumblers at a quicker rate than a traditional gymnastics class.
You’ll be evaluated on jumps, tumbling, motions, dance, and overall attitude.
Not always! We offer many different programs with a wide range of skills.
Coaches will consider skill level, age, experience, and overall team needs.
Everyone will get placed in one of our programs (Novice, Prep, or Elite) as a result of your tryout.
Tryouts last 1-3 days. Approximately 2 hours a day.
We do not allow spectators during tryouts. We want to make sure there are no distractions for our athletes!
No routine for novice and prep teams. Visit out Instagram for Elite tryout routines.
We recommend fitted athletic wear, cheer shoes (Closed-toe athletic shoes if you don’t have cheer shoes yet), hair in a high ponytail, and a bow if you have one!
