Jennifer is a 1995 graduate of the University of Vermont where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. At the University of Vermont she was a member of the Women’s Gymnastics team and an active participant in her sorority. For her last year of college, she moved out west (1994) and finished out her last few classes at the University of Arizona and played for the University of Arizona Women’s Lacrosse team while continuing her involvement in her sorority. Before starting the Arizona All-Stars, she worked for a local Insurance company for 5 years as a Technical Trainer until they shut down the department. With an offer to move to Dallas, she decided it was time to put her business plan into action.  The Arizona All-Stars was established in April 2002 and the doors were open for business In May 2002, a dream come true. She has been coaching for the last 20 years. Jennifer is USASF credentialed in Levels 1-5, and she is CPR and First Aid certified. This proud Boston native is the mama to a high school daughter and middle school son.  In addition to coaching and running AZ All-Stars, she, along with Drea, has been running successful cheer competitions for school teams and all-star over the last 20 years.  “If I can change the life of one athlete, then I have done my job!”

Andrea “Drea” Johnson – Tempe Director / Head Coach

Drea grew up in Chandler and Tempe, Arizona where she attended McClintock High School. She has been involved in the sport of cheerleading for over 20 years.  Drea was a member of the McClintock Spirit line for four years, holding the captain title her senior year. She also was a tumbler and All-Star cheerleader at Tumbling Masters Academy for 2 seasons. She went on to cheer at Mesa Community College where she was captain and received the USA College Spirit Star for two consecutive years, being the only athlete to do this in school history. Drea also received the award of MVP at the conclusion of both season at MCC. Drea has been coaching tumbling and cheerleading for 16 years. She has been Tempe Director at Arizona All-Stars under owner Jennifer Lannon for 20 years, coaching all levels of tumbling including high schools, rec, and all-star tumbling. Drea is USASF credentialed in Levels 1-5, and she is CPR and First Aid certified.

 


 

 

Naeem Munir – Tumbling Director 

Coach Naeem is a two-time national power tumbling champion from Detroit, Michigan! He has over twenty-five years of coaching experience and has coached top athletes in cheer, tumbling, gymnastics, and dance. Naeem has coached cheer from levels one to five on worlds and summit levels. He has also coached gymnastics through level ten and has instructed tumbling up to the elite. A fun fact about Coach Naeem. He is a 3rd-degree black belt in combative arts and held three kickboxing titles in three different weight classes!

 

 

 

 


 

   

 

Lynnea Munoz – Director of Operations, Elite/F3/Tumbling Coach

Coach Lynnea is born and raised here in Phoenix and has lived in Ahwatukee her entire life. Lynnea has been in the cheer world for 12 years, cheering for 8 of those years and coaching for the last 4 years. She cheered for Mountain Pointe High School and graduated in 2019. She also cheered in middle school as well as all-star cheer for 1 year. Before she entered the cheer scene, Lynnea danced for 5 years and also danced semi-professionally in 2019. Lynnea is currently attending college where she is studying pre-med while coaching our F-3 cheer and elite teams! Lynnea loves kids and works with all of our mini and youth athletes here at AZ All-Stars. She is also CPR and first aid certified. She loves every aspect of cheer and feels honored to be able to share her passion with generations to come!

Brooke Scribner – Elite Lite Junior 1/ Tumbling Coach

Coach Brooke started cheer at 5 years old in California. During that time, she grew to become a level 5 athlete. She won Jamz 6 times, was top 3 at D1 Summit twice, and was a world’s finalist her final year of all-star cheer. She then moved to AZ to continue her cheer career at Perry High School in Gilbert. She won the D1 state championship with her High School team in 2019 and 2022 while coaching AZ All-stars as a tumbling instructor. She’s currently studying kinesiology at ASU while being a part of Delta Zeta. She is also CPR and First Aid Certified. Coach Brooke is going on her 4th year coaching at AZ All-Stars and can’t wait to share her wealth of knowledge and love of the sport!!

Alyssa Castillo- BCE Camp Manager, F3 Coach

Coach Alyssa started cheering at Arizona All Stars in 2005 until she went to cheer at St. Mary’s Catholic High School in 2012. During that time she was a junior coach for our mini team. After high school in 2016, she began coaching BCE and has worked to become our manager. She graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University in 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently a 1st grade teacher. Not only is she a teacher and manager, but she also coaches our rec cheer team Aqua! She is also CPR and First Aid Certified. She loves working with kids and is excited to still be working at the place she has loved for so long!

Hi! My name is Leah! I have been in the cheerleading community for 12 years! I am a 6th year on UCA staff (a brand in Varsity). During my time working with Varsity, I have worked with high school and college athletes (Including Live Oak High School and University of Las Vegas), I have taught all levels of stunting. I have been awarded with UCA Female Veteran of the year, given the opportunity to work in London, Hawaii, Alaska and all the West Coast! In the spring, I work ALL events in Florida including: College Nationals, NHSCC, UCA Allstar, ICU/Worlds, Summit and D2 Summit! I love cheerleading!
